Our client is a reference organization in its sector Descriçao da oferta To ensure that assigned port facilities, layout, equipment, and machinery run to their maximum efficiency and output by planning, managing, and controlling both reactive and proactive maintenance service and to provide operational KPIs, maintenance procedures and strategies aligned to annual approved budget to comply with organization's objectives.

Principais responsabilidades To ensure the continuity of all functions and performance features of equipment to increase equipment and machinery efficiency and to ensure that losses occurring breakdown, maintenance and short-term stop processes affecting efficiency are kept in minimum level and done in the most cost effective way;
To provide hands-on management of the repair and maintenance of container cranes and mobile equipment as well as handling equipment, facilities, infrastructure, and utilities overall;
Contribute to the creation, implementation and control of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures for global standards to improve operational performance;
To ensure the timely elimination of the malfunctions of the vehicles and machineries used, to organized preventive maintenance works, to provide uninterrupted service in economic conditions;
To coordinate Technical Services Managers on the daily management of staff and resources to meet terminal targets in respect of equipment availability, reliability and maintenance costs;
Manage, coach and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels for operational success;
Placing the concept of preventive maintenance in the technical service staff, training and developing the technical service staff in this direction;
To ensure all works and materials are recorded in the accordance with the company guidelines and strategy;
Ensure that all engineering and maintenance work is performed to the highest standard to meet operational requirements and KPIs in a timely and effective manner;
Prepare and ensure the fulfillment of annual maintenance budget;
To explain position targets to all technical staff and to direct them to these targets. To determine the priorities, to motivate and develop the members of the team to increase the quality of the service provided;
To ensure compliance with department objectives / KPI's , review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
Perfil desejado Bachelor's Degree and above;
10+ years in Port Business, Maintenance, Engineering;
Mechanical or Electrical & Electronical Engineering;
Must be structured, organized and proactive with proven skills & experience as a manager;
Initiative and a strong collaborative approach;
Strong believer in Team building and Results oriented;
Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, able to manage effectively in a multicultural and innovative environment
