Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Delivery Manager to oversee, manage, and organize the software development projects. The successful candidate would be responsible for the strategic decision-making that comes with managing a delivery unit, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives, strategy, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

overseeing the portfolio of projects and programs, setting priorities according to the company's goals and objectives. collaborating with program and project managers to ensure seamless delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and scope. conducting risk assessments to identify potential risks and putting measures in place to mitigate such risks. maintaining regular communications with stakeholders and providing timely and accurate reports and updates on the portfolio's status. guiding decision-making processes for the prioritization of initiatives, resources allocation, and coordination across various projects. ensuring the alignment of the portfolio with the business strategy, bringing value to the company, and meeting stakeholders' expectations. keeping up-to-date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and project management methodologies.

Qualifications

bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or any related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred. proven experience in portfolio management, preferably in a software development company. profound knowledge of project, program, and portfolio management techniques and strategies. exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. strong proficiency in project management software tools. excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a keen eye for details.This position requires a understanding of both the technical and business aspects of software development. The ideal candidate should be able to manage expectations, balance resources, and navigate complex issues to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
