Job Description: We are looking for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join our team at Airbus Portugal GBS
Responsibilities - your mission Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000.
Position Summary: Supply Chain and Quality Manager to act as enabler of collaboration between multiple T1 suppliers (integrators) and sub tier suppliers.
The job holder will manage recovery governance between integrators and subtier suppliers in order to maintain alignment with Airbus Industrial system during the recovery phase.
Essential Functions: Collaborate Recovery plan between multiple suppliersLead Recovery Meetings between Tier 1 and SubTier suppliers (eg. ADE)Coordinate with Airbus Industrial system the prioritization of deliveries and ensure adherence to planCommunicate to internal stakeholders the latest status.Requirements - our ideal candidate will have Digital backgroundPast experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including Process management aspectKnowledge of EN9100 desirableCommunication and Change management skillsAbility to write emails in English and French, to communicate on the phone or via emails with suppliers and Airbus employeesFluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiationsBe customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergenciesEager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvementA degree in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to work in a multicultural environmentAble to travel domestically and internationally when neededShows a lot of rigor and concentration at workBenefits - what's in it for you Diverse career opportunities within Airbus European core countries or in other regions around the world.A hybrid working model, allowing you to combine onsite and offsite work.A modern office at Parque das Nacoes, well connected to public transportation.A motivated and fun crew to grow and build and shape the GBS together.An intense and exciting onboarding experience.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
