ROLE SUMMARY: We are looking for a HR Analyst / Controller to provide support to our HR team on all matters relating to HR cost controlling (data, systems, processes, and reporting). A key part of the role is to be the custodian of all HR cost data, being the bridge between HR and Finance in relation to our global HR cost data. This role involves managing the budget and actual costs related to HR for Portugal (and potentially other European countries) within the organization. This role will be based in our Head Office in Alfragide. The HR analyst will be reporting to the HR Manager (with close interaction with the HR Director) and will also be required to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the HR Team, and colleagues and managers across the organisation. Experience required: The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years as a data analyst, strong analytical skills, and a proactive and collaborative approach. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Budget and Forecast Process: Input and submit HR cost budget for the Portugal (and Northern Europe) Region. Coordinate global submissions and prepare variance reports. Analyze HR costs centrally and provide consolidated budget reports with commentary. Monthly HR Actual Process Manage monthly HR actual closing for the Portugal (and Northern Europe) Region. Report any discrepancies to the HR Director and make necessary accruals/reversals. Ensure accurate reporting. Identify variances in HR actual costs and reconcile with finance system. Conducting in-depth analysis to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations based on findings. Other Responsibilities Continuously enhance HR cost controlling processes and reporting
