**ROLE SUMMARY**:
St. Peter’s International School is an international school that provides a competitive, high-quality response to the needs of a diverse population. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are designing our growth roadmap and new staff will be able to actively participate in this project. All staff at St. Peter’s are actively involved in the pastoral life of the school. The role will also offer the opportunity for contribution to co-curricular clubs and enrichment.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Working closely and collaboratively with the Executive Head and Senior Management Team to implement the School’s educational strategy and policies
- Working collaboratively with the Head of Admissions on the admission and induction of new pupils into the International Section, including oversight and development of Admissions Tests
- Leading the review and implementation of teaching & learning policies
- Responsibility for the alignment between the Cambridge IGCSE and the IBDP
- Developing the International curriculum in collaboration with Senior colleagues across the whole school
- Overseeing the professional development and performance management processes for International Section teaching staff
- Ensuring the academic development of the School and year-on-year improvement of educational standards, including target setting for IB DP and IGCSE examinations
- Evaluating and reporting on the possible expansion of the International Section to include Cambridge Primary
- Ensuring a high standard academic programme by working directly with all departments and teachers
- Overseeing and improving systems related to tracking student progress, to evaluate student progression and act upon the results guaranteeing each student achieves their best, using benchmarks and setting targets for improvement
- Ensuring a culture and ethos of challenge, accountability and support where all students become engaged in their own learning
- Ensuring parents and students are well informed about school activities, the curriculum, attainment and progress, and the contribution that they can make to achieve the School’s targets for improvement
