About the Role

The Alpega Group is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team in Portugal. This role will be part of the sales organization and will focus on identifying market opportunities and conducting lead generation to maximize market exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers and maintain excellent customer relationships to guarantee retention and avoid customer churn.
  • Regular communication with customers to ensure frequent and right use of the Freight Exchange platform.
  • Support and advise clients to help them develop their business.
  • Track all relevant activity in the CRM tool (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with the team and other departments to follow the strategy and sales process and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in B2B sales (service or software oriented ideally).
  • Portuguese language proficiency at a native level.
  • Fluent English or Spanish language skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce (ideal but not mandatory).
  • Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals.
