The Vision-Box World is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Portugal. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and promoting quality indicators, as well as coordinating preventive and corrective measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor quality indicators, coordinating preventive and corrective measures
- Promote continuous improvement of the quality management system
- Develop and participate in quality audits and manage the quality system
- Participate in occupational and environmental risks assessment and prevention
- Contribute to the implementation of prevention and protection measures
- Organize documentation related to prevention and protection development
- Participate in writing EHS documents
- Control subcontractor compliance with EHS standards
- Promote EHS awareness throughout the organization
- Collaborate in workers consultation and improve processes development
- Participate in internal emergency plan preparation
- Prepare accident or occupational disease participations
- Implement operational control and ensure EHS rules are properly displayed and respected
- Prepare periodic inspection EHS reports
- Comply and assure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Create information security strategies
- Develop and monitor risk assessment program for all assets
- Review the adequacy and appropriateness of the Business Continuity strategy
- Develop and participate in security information audits and manage the quality system
- Ensure the confidentiality of information available within the scope of the activity
- Contribute to the correct separation of waste and its placement in respective containers
Requirements
- 2-3 years of similar professional experience
- General knowledge about ISO 14001:2015
