Overview

We are a health technology company at Philips International, and we believe that every human matters. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Manager to join our team in North Portugal.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving relations with existing and potential customers (DMEs and hospital prescribers) in the region. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in account management or sales in the healthcare industry. They should understand local market environments, reimbursement models, public tenders, and local challenges and regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating yearly sales plans, presenting and explaining the local product portfolio, reporting regularly on sales results and expectations, and developing plans and offers for accounts. They will also be expected to support national sales actions and work closely with the sales management team.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in account management or sales in the healthcare industry
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
  • Strong negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large matrix teams both internally and externally
  • Clinical knowledge, especially with ventilation, sleep, and respiratory devices

Salary: €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience.
