A Little About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Business Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our travelers. Your expertise in supplier knowledge, destination awareness, and system proficiency will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless travel experiences.
The Job Description
- Provide best-in-class travel support through multiple contact channels: chat, call, and email.
- Maintain extensive supplier, destination, and system knowledge.
- Analyze customer needs, persona, and level of urgency to deliver prompt and accurate solutions.
- Book hotels, flights, cars, and rail tickets as required, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support users with self-service of the Navan platform and app where possible.
- Respond to customers within Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations and requirements.
- Participate in team meetings to stay updated on new product launches, supplier updates, and industry changes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in TMC/BT Consultant Role covering all supplier products (air, rail, hotel).
- 2+ years of GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) to intermediate level mandatory.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- IATA accreditation (WWAFT/WAII/BA2).
- Customer Service experience within a contact center or customer-facing role.
- Tech Savvy – not an expert but confident in using Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Reliable and flexible with an openness to working non-traditional shifts (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends).
- Ability to multitask with a desire to resolve urgent matters quickly and efficiently.
- An empathetic disposition with the ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- An independent thinker who can use available resources to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer inquiries.
- A skilled communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this role is €50,000 - €60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
