Edp Energias De Portugal S.A. is seeking an experienced Electrical Grid Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Almada, Portugal.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled professional with experience in electrical grid maintenance, including monitoring the grid in disturbed states, performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting and operating electrical equipment, analyzing incidents and occurrences, and ensuring continuity of electricity supply.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain electrical grid assets to ensure optimal performance and prevent faults
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspection, and repair of electrical equipment
- Analyze incidents and occurrences on the electrical grid to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical grid maintenance or related field
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and electrical simulation tools
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
