Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager with exceptional leadership skills to oversee the development of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive test strategies, leading a team of QA engineers, and overseeing automated test frameworks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a thorough test strategy that covers functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure product excellence.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to foster skill development, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Test Automation: Oversee the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and drive automation testing initiatives to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, product management, and project management teams to align on release schedules, define test requirements, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Defect Management: Implement processes for effective defect tracking, reporting, and resolution to ensure transparency in defect reporting and tracking for stakeholders.
  • Quality Metrics: Define and monitor quality metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to measure progress and drive improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate, recommend, and implement QA tools, processes, and best practices to enhance the team's efficiency and product quality.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
  • Proven experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
  • A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
