Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Client Relationships:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and clients to secure and expand business opportunities.
• Establish productive and professional relationships with key clients.
• Oversee the negotiation and closure of business deals, ensuring profitability and compliance with the company's policies and objectives.
Performance Management:
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve excellent performance levels.
• Monitor sales metrics and manage the sales administration process.
Market Analysis:
• Stay informed of industry trends and technological advancements in renewable energy and biodiversity consultancy.
• Leverage insights from the consulting sector to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and enhance customer acquisition.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the sales team.
Organizational Structure:
• Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring clear and effective communication of department progress, challenges, and successes.
• Has full autonomy in managing their team, encompassing staff selection, professional development, and task distribution.
• Holds authority to make decisions regarding service distribution, department budgeting, and investment in training and skills development.
Interfacing with Other Departments:
• Collaborates closely with Biodiversity, Technology Development, and other relevant departments to ensure departmental alignment and synergy.
• This includes coordinating on project proposals, aligning biodiversity strategies with technological innovations, and communicating the value of biodiversity considerations in project bids.
