About the RoleAs a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the very first person to see the localized game in its entirety – translated text, images, and the rest of the user interface collectively. You’ll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by the end users.
You will work in a multilingual project team ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localized into the target language. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with a global project team, identifying and correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines, logging details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions, ensuring accurate translation within context, maintaining consistency in terminology and imagery, identifying missing or incorrect content, and ensuring proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
You will write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation. As an LQA Game Tester, you would be working on top gaming titles for some of the world’s leading publishers.
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- No experience required
- We'll provide you with the training and support you need to perform the testing
- Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for
- Computer literacy – particularly with Excel
- Robust Internet research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams
- Be able to issue an invoice

Work equipment provided by PTW (to be shipped to Freelancer's home address)

Working Conditions
Remote Project-based Work flexibly between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays Work at least 4 hours a day (if there’s a project)
