Global Transformation Leader for Digital Innovation

At TUI, we are seeking an experienced Global Transformation Leader to spearhead our digital innovation efforts.
About the JobYou will be responsible for driving technology and organisational transformation activities, collaborating with technology leaders to shape a vision and strategies regarding IT architecture.
As a seasoned professional, you will provide technical leadership, using your expertise to effectively engage with teams, enhance their capability, and continuously improve the quality of solutions.
You will identify and implement improvement architectural practices in an agile environment, mapping the discrepancy between current processes and desired state to innovate processes and adapt them to market trends.
A strong understanding of the bigger picture is essential, keeping yourself informed of the latest innovations, technologies, patterns, and practices in modular architecture.
You will ensure that technical implementation aligns with enterprise and solution architecture standards, objectives, and compliance requirements.
This role requires a proven track record in designing modular, scalable, highly-performant, and resilient global solutions, as well as experience with cloud technology (AWS), cloud architecture, scalable design patterns, CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, microservices, and ideally microfrontends.
The ideal candidate will have a deep grasp of data and information security core concepts, principles, and best practices, incorporating these into designs.
You will conceive strategic, innovative software and system architectures for the further development of online and IT systems, translating business vision into viable technical strategies and conveying such strategies back to business stakeholders.

About You- A great communicator and facilitator, comfortable working across organisational and market boundaries.
- Technical leadership skills, able to step up from detail to see full context and develop long-term vision.
- Proven track record in designing modular, scalable, highly-performant, and resilient global solutions.
- Experience with designing RESTful and ideally GraphQL, deep familiarity with relevant best practices.
- Strong grasp of cloud technology (AWS), cloud architecture, scalable design patterns, CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, microservices, and ideally microfrontends.
- Understanding of Data and Information Security core concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Conception of strategic, innovative software and system architectures.
- Proficiency in translating business vision into viable technical strategies.
- Experience in working in an agile environment and championing architecture practices in an agile way.
- Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration, and great teams.

- Highly autonomous and self-motivated.
