Zendesk, Inc. is a leading provider of customer service and engagement software. As a fast-growing Renewals organisation, we're seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Subscription Growth Manager.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced professional with 3+ years in renewing and managing customer accounts to lead our subscription growth efforts. This role involves negotiating SaaS contracts, pricing, and expansion opportunities to increase customer value while reducing churn and contraction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high renewal rate, meeting quarterly and annual goals, and providing feedback on customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead future subscription negotiation at the time of renewal to reduce current discount and expand term length.
- Properly qualify expansion opportunities to increase customer value.
- Identify high-risk customers leading to potential churn or contraction and develop save plans with the Customer Success and Sales teams.
- Partner with the Customer Success and Sales teams to provide feedback on growing customer requirements.
- Maintain timely renewals and manage the renewal process from start to finish.
- Manage Salesforce opportunities accurately and stay up-to-date.
- Mentor Associate Renewal Representatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in renewing and managing customer accounts.
- Proficient level of English (another European language is a plus).
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented and excellent time management skills.
- Team player with experience in negotiating SaaS contracts and pricing.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and articulation of professional communication.
