About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Business Services Team Leader to join our team at Syensqo. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of professionals responsible for VAT compliance services, service billing, and intercompany process management for all Syensqo legal entities in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of professionals responsible for VAT compliance services, service billing, and intercompany process management
* Manage the end-to-end service billing process and intercompany process
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a good coordination and cooperation with other regions
* Identify and implement improvements to the compliance process through technological improvements and automation
* Manage the department and staff, setting priorities and planning work for a weekly or daily schedule
* Ensure team output is in line with applicable delivery indicators, quality, deadlines, cost, and work in line with group standards
Requirements:
* University degree in Accounting, Tax, Economics, or Finance Tax Specialization
* Specific VAT certification
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in VAT and indirect taxes in Europe
* Experience working with SAP is required, and knowledge in IT tools (BFC, Business Warehouse) is preferred
* Knowledge in service billing and intercompany topics
