Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and multilingual Reception and Guest Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless passenger experiences, handling complaints with diplomacy, and promoting onboard revenue outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Assist the Guest Service Manager and Senior Receptionist with tasks and duties, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Effectively handle passenger complaints, following up to ensure resolution and passenger satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of onboard services and outlets to provide personalized recommendations to passengers.
- Support passengers with special needs, accompanying them to shore hospitals as required.
- Ensure workstations are cleaned according to schedule, adhering to USPH standards.
- Submit work orders for maintenance and follow up on their status in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Guest Service Manager and Senior Receptionist.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a hotel or cruise ship in a similar position.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German, with additional languages a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.
- Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of MXP/POS systems a plus.
- Basic accounting skills and excellent organizational abilities.
