Are you a commercially-minded professional with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships? We are looking for an experienced New Business Sales Executive to join our Sales team at Carrierbagshop.

About Us

We are a fast-growing e-commerce packaging company based in London, serving as the UK's leader in paper bags, cartons, and other innovative packaging products. Our presence extends across Europe, with multiple marketing-leading brands and a diverse team of 50 people across four locations.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging role that requires versatility and resourcefulness. As a New Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for booking new business with brands and their agencies, working closely with internal operations teams and external suppliers to bring products to life. You will need to be proactive in managing customer expectations, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing a deep understanding of customer needs through effective communication and gathering requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting tailored packaging solutions to meet customer specifications.
  • Providing quotations, discussing product options with customers, and fostering strong relationships to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer information within our CRM system and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets set by the Line Manager and contributing to a positive working environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in a sales environment (not essential).
  • A solid telephone manner, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to think creatively.
  • Strong organisational skills, time management expertise, and the capacity to prioritise work effectively.
  • The ability to find practical solutions to problems and maintain attention to detail without compromising accuracy.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, resilience, energy, enthusiasm, and a dynamic approach to your work.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
