About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree Lisbon. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to our management team and delivering an exceptional staff experience.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including:
- Providing and delivering first-class ER services to our Human Resources Manager and management team;
- Supporting Human Resources strategy, including succession planning processes in individual hotels;
- Managing employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability;
- Ensuring recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensuring that appropriate immigration checks are carried out;
- Supporting the hotel with departmental training requirements;
- Controlling costs when possible and assisting in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets;
- Ensuring pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines;
- Ensuring completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations, and other health and safety legislation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in Human Resources;
- Good communication and people skills;
- A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- The ability to work under pressure;
- The ability to work on your own or in teams;
- A knowledge of hospitality.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of approximately €45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive training program, opportunities for career development, and a supportive working environment.
