IT Infrastructure and Security Specialist

The IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer is a key position within the Truphone IT department, responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring robust security through the administration of Palo Alto Networks and Panorama.
About the RoleThis role involves designing, implementing, and managing both network and security infrastructures to support business operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, strong expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, and a strategic mindset for enhancing the organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities:- IT Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems.
- Oversee IT projects, such as infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
Network and Security Management: Manage, configure, and monitor Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama for centralized management. Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Monitor and respond to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, virtualization).
- Strong expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (VPNs, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, etc.).

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
