The Universidade De Coimbra is seeking highly motivated and talented researchers to fill a Research Fellowship position. As a research fellow, you will be an integral part of our team working on the project SINDIA - Socio-spatial inequalities in dementia.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for candidates who have a strong academic background in Geography and are enrolled in a master's degree or a course that does not confer an academic degree. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and sensitivity when interacting with individuals in vulnerable situations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

As a research fellow, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of meetings with institutional partners and entities where surveys will be conducted;
  • Scheduling visits for conducting surveys with individuals with dementia and their informal caregivers;
  • Organising travel, actual travel, and conducting the surveys;
  • Completing the survey form on the LimeSurvey platform;
  • Carrying out preliminary analyses of the quantitative surveys;
  • Assisting in the preparation of meetings with institutional partners and entities where interviews will be conducted;
  • Scheduling visits for conducting interviews with individuals with dementia and their informal caregivers;
  • Organising travel, actual travel, and conducting the interviews;
  • Carrying out preliminary analyses of the interviews;
  • Participating in national congresses and conferences.
