About the Role
Korean Language Quality Assurance Specialists work within our Localization Quality Assurance team to ensure that localized games are free from errors, cultural inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. You will be the first person to see the localized game and experience it as end-users do.
You will collaborate with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, adhere to console manufacturer guidelines, log details of errors and issues, and provide improvement suggestions. You will also ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to deliver high-quality localized games.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
We perform language checks on a range of upcoming games for PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and mobile devices. As a Korean Language Quality Assurance Specialist, you would be working on top gaming titles for leading publishers.
Requirements
- Fluency in Korean and English.
- No experience required; we provide training and support.
- Strong cultural understanding of Korean culture.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
