Patent Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Administrator to join our team at Patentree. As a key member of our team, you will provide secretarial support to attorneys and technical specialists in the patent prosecution process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing applications, responses, and other patent prosecution documents for filing with the Portuguese (INPI) and European Patent Office (EPO)
• Monitor, process, and assist with completing attorney's dockets
• Prepare routine correspondence, read and route mail, maintain patent files, and screen attorney's incoming telephone calls
• Perform research and compile data as requested by attorneys
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent English skills are mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be a strong team player
