Job Summary

This role is a position within the APS organisation, which oversees the application and production support of the Cash Equities Execution platform. The team provides functional and technical support for front and back-end components running on Linux and Windows environments. The team also manages connectivity to the different electronic trading venues, brokers, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for front and back-end components
  • Manage connectivity to electronic trading venues, brokers, vendors, and clients
  • Develop a good understanding of electronic execution trading systems
  • Work with a global APS team with a follow-the-sun support model

Requirements

  • IT background (BSc, MSc degree in a related field)
  • A few years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of financial markets and electronic trading
  • Core Unix/Linux skills
  • Knowledge of network technologies and protocols
  • Basic scripting skills
  • Basic SQL knowledge

Desirable Skills

  • Log management: Splunk, ELK, Graylog, Loki
  • Network monitoring: Corvil
