La Redoute is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in the creation of outstanding products and services. As a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, you will provide guidance and mentorship to your team, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Be a technical advisor and contributor, helping your team and other teams as needed.
- Communicate and manage efficiently with different stakeholders, promoting best technology and software development practices.
- Contribute to the whole development cycle, from analysis to operation.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or related IT field experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing or operating large scale web applications.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, particularly within the Microservice Architecture.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining Cloud Native applications.
- Strong experience with NoSQL DBs.
- Strong CI/CD experience.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage and coach remote employees effectively.
- Proactive ownership for the projects delivered by your team.
