Role Overview

Zendesk is seeking a skilled Public Relations Manager to lead our communications efforts in the French market. As a key member of our Global Communications Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our PR strategy in France, driving media relations, press events, and creating compelling content to position Zendesk as a leader in AI-powered customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with our global communications strategy, focusing on the French market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key French media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that communicate our brand messages effectively.
  • Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
  • Collaborate with our social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
  • Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Native French speaker or business fluent; fluent in English.
  • Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in France.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
