Purchase Order Administrator Position

Job Summary
The Purchase Order Administrator supports the Business Services department in meeting strategic objectives aligned with SBM's values. As a critical component of the Purchase-to-Pay process, this role formalizes contractual relationships between SBM and vendors through accurate purchase orders, ensures timely approval, and releases purchase orders to vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Formalize contractual relationships between SBM and vendors via adequate purchase orders
- Evaluate and approve purchase orders according to SBM's Financial Authority Matrix
- Release purchase orders to vendors before scope execution
- Maintain strong business relationships with SBM's NPR purchasing department and stakeholders
- Coordinate administrative verifications for Vendor Qualification
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a shared services environment
- Fluent English (additional language is a plus)
- Solid understanding of computer basics (Windows, Excel, Word, Email, Internet)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly personality who enjoys assisting others
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and 'can do' attitude
- Patient and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Estimated Salary Range: €40,000 - €60,000 per annum based on location and industry standards. This estimate may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
