About the Role:

As a key member of our UK, Ireland & Nordics regional operations team, you will focus on executing regional processes and managing a set of local depots and their respective teams.

You will be responsible for driving operational results in terms of fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

This includes end-to-end process ownership related to these objectives, spanning vehicle management, supplier procurement and management, stock management, local operations coordination, logistics, and guaranteeing adherence to procedures for high-quality fleet servicing.

You will report directly to the UK, Ireland & Nordics Regional Operations Director and play an essential role in the execution of our operation.

The ideal candidate will coordinate actions with team members and local operations, with direct impact on results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and contribute to the evolution of asset-management-related procedures designed by central teams and their applicability to your region;
  2. Maximise fleet availability through good execution of vehicle in-fleeting procedures, vehicle intervention management, and vehicle de-fleeting procedures;
  3. Ensure the local structure is stocked with all required inventory to service the fleet according to established models, and execute the purchase of spare parts when needed;
  4. Be knowledgeable about the vehicles we operate and assist local operations in interventions required to be performed on vehicles in your region;
  5. Coordinate actions between local teams and logistics companies to move the fleet according to business requirements;
  6. Develop our fleet network by procuring, negotiating, and managing relationships with workshops and fleet partners;
  7. Major contributor and responsible for vehicle operating costs in your region;
  8. Help coordinate priorities of more junior colleagues, guiding and training them;
  9. Contribute to expansion projects in your region.

Requirements:

  • Background in Engineering, mechanical education, business management, or similar education;
  • 3+ years of experience in an operational context involving fleet management, supplier management, logistics, and supply chain;
  • Prone to action, taking initiative to address operational needs, and ensuring smooth workflows;
  • Organised and analytical, looking at data to drive actions and effectively managing time to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Team Player, willingness to work closely with team members and local teams, contributing to overall objectives;
  • Adaptable and resilient, following procedures while adapting to unforeseen events to reach the end result;
  • Good Communicator, clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
