Job Summary

Siemens is seeking a highly skilled S/4 Senior Expert - Sales and Distribution to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of S/4 Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in solution design, system integration, and service excellence, as well as a proven track record of leading full lifecycle implementations of S/4 SD.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of S/4 SD modules, focusing on solution design, system integration, and service excellence.
Provide expert-level consulting on S/4 SD processes, including order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, billing, and sales order management.
Manage and address cross end-to-end (xE2E) topics such as mixed order processing, integrated customer billing (ICB), and complex sales scenarios within the broader S/4 ecosystem.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SD functionalities with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other S/4 modules (e.g., MM, FI, CO) and external systems.
Conduct workshops to identify process gaps, propose solutions, and align with best practices, particularly in the context of complex SD and xE2E processes.
Ensure smooth system performance and integration, managing key SD interfaces and dependencies with adjacent systems.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in S/4 SD with expertise in managing complex sales and distribution processes.
Proven track record of leading full lifecycle implementations of S/4 SD, including system configuration and process optimization.
In-depth knowledge of S/4 SD functionalities, including order-to-cash, pricing, billing, and sales order management.
Experience with cross E2E (xE2E) topics, such as mixed order processing, integrated customer billing (ICB), and multi-module integration.
Strong understanding of S/4 integration with adjacent modules (e.g., MM, FI, CO) and external systems.
S/4 certification in SD is preferred but not mandatory.
Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex E2E scenarios.
Leadership skills with a proactive, solution-driven approach to managing S/4 SD projects.
Strong communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and effectively engaging with stakeholders.
High ethical standards and the ability to drive change within complex organizational structures.
