Cloud Foundations Engineer - Lisbon
Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Cloud Foundations Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.
Our Client is the owner of distinguished Maisons, known for their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. They aim to nurture their unique heritage and values while enabling growth and prosperity in a responsible and sustainable manner.
To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into their brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce their technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to business growth. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of their central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated into the core technology workforce.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on cloud foundations.
- Work with projects and products counterparts to guide them through cloud transformation using automation.
- Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
- Participate in the standardization of architecture offers and contribute to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.
Requirements
- Bachelor or master's in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of GCP, with experience in AWS, Alibaba, and Azure (Azure AAD) a plus.
- Experience as a Cloud Engineer, with experience in building landing zones at scale in a global and multi-cloud environment.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
- Excellent communication skills and autonomy to follow tasks and assist projects.
- Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience.
- Fluent in English, with French a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering features in small time durations and utilizing automation whenever possible.
- Experience with data engineering a plus.
- Experience with coding and scripting, including Python and BASH.
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, cloud operations, and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Anthos a plus.
- Experience with design and implement API interactions through code.
- Good knowledge of cloud security framework.
- Basic knowledge of FinOps.

Interview Process
Our team will actively review all applications. If your application is selected, we will reach out to you for an informal introductory call. The next step will be meeting our Client's team for a technical interview with team members, selected candidates will move to a final interview with the Hiring Manager and HR team. Additional rounds may be engaged on a case-by-case basis.
