We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Porto. Located in the heart of Europe, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to shaping the future of content management and digital publishing solutions.
**About the Role:**
We are looking for an experienced professional who can ensure the highest quality software development lifecycle in collaboration with other teams and departments. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for defining test cases, designing and developing functional and performance test scripts, maintaining test environments, executing test suites, collecting results, and providing reports on test activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with Scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Define test cases to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Design and develop functional and performance test scripts for Web and RESTful applications
- Maintain test environments (Linux and Windows) with the possibility to work on CI/CD pipelines
- Execute test suites, collect results, and provide reports on test activities
**Technical Requirements:**
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Organized and structured approach to work with excellent attention to details
- Proactivity and a great desire to learn
- Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies
- Experience in test automation and test management, and knowledge of test automation tools – best if Selenium with Cucumber
**Nice to Have:**
- University degree (achieved or in progress) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- ISEB/ISTQB qualification
- Experience in software development with quality assurance exposure
- Knowledge of Jenkins and GitLab

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience.
