**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Category Expert to join our Professional Services area for assigned countries (e.g., UK, Benelux). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing indirect purchasing activities, delivering category and subcategory results, and developing specific expertise for the defined scope.
You will implement indirect purchasing processes ensuring compliance requirements, input and implement the global strategy in the defined scope, adapt and ensure specific expertise within the defined scope, establish and further develop standard processes and tasks within the defined scope, drive competition, and further develop and apply negotiation expertise.
Additionally, you will prepare and approve purchasing decisions/contracts in accordance with the signature regulations, manage Key Account/Stakeholder management as per assigned scope, manage escalations, and apply Lean Routines/CIP methods and tools.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree (Technical or Commercial) and professional work experience min. 1 year;
- Experience with purchasing methods and IT tools for Indirect Purchasing;
- Business fluent English knowledge in writing and speech;
- Cost analysis within Indirect Purchasing;
- Willingness to travel;
- Category specialized knowledge;
- Contract law and legal requirements, compliance;
- Project management and moderation skills.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
