Job Title: Buyer - French Speaker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team in Coimbra and become part of the Airbus Procurement team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for Tactical Sourcing activities and Contract Management support to the Direct and Indirect central procurement functions in line with the Service Level Agreement requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as an extended member of the central Procurement function (Direct and Indirect) for Tactical Sourcing and Contract Management activities for the assigned scope.
  • Manage or support the Call for Tender (CFT) and supplier selection process in a fair competition mode and according to Airbus Procurement processes.
  • Support the drafting and negotiation of the relevant contracts/generic terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • On request, process standard NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) for various projects.
  • Manage the annual release of applicable contractual requirements and documents lists (cARL, cADL) and launching actions in case of need.
  • Ensure deliverables (goods/services) are in line with the contractual terms (cost, time, quality).
  • Support long-term alignment of the preferred supplier base with the long-term trans-national and trans-divisional strategic needs of Airbus.
  • Ensure and report achievement of saving targets in accordance with SLAs.
  • Optimize bundling opportunities to leverage the buying power of the Group and contribute to local for global initiatives.
  • Ensure regular two-way communication with strategic buyers in central Procurement commodities.
  • Contribute to innovation and digitalization in the procurement process through the deployment of state-of-the-art processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • The jobholder will have a Procurement background of 2 to 5 years and the potential to be developed in the core countries in the Procurement function.
  • In terms of Hard skills, the jobholder will demonstrate a strong ability in Tendering process, Advanced negotiation, Legal/Contracting and SRM (supplier relationship management). He/she will bring good knowledge in Export Control and Sustainability laws and regulations.
  • He/she will demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, and will be fluent in English and French both written and verbal.
  • He/she will be easily adaptable to the Airbus E2E Procurement tools (Coupa suite, SAP, E-Proc and Airsupply) and will be used to Google suite.
  • In terms of Soft skills, the jobholder will be "delivery" oriented with a strong focus on customers' satisfaction. He/she will have a strong ability to convince and influence, communicate effectively. He/she will be a team player and will be comfortable with remote working. He/she will always act with integrity and equity in the supplier selection process, in full compliance with processes and regulations.
