Job Description

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to lead our communications strategy in Germany. As a key member of our Global Communications Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective PR campaigns that align with our global communications strategy, focusing on the German market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and execute PR campaigns that effectively communicate our brand messages and drive media relations in Germany.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key German media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
  3. Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that communicate our brand messages effectively.
  4. Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
  5. Collaborate with the social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
  6. Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Native German speaker or business fluent; fluent in English.
  • Previous experience working in the tech, CX, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in Germany.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
