Customer Service Specialist in Travel Industry

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Portugal. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences through various communication channels.
Job DescriptionSalary: €24,000 - €28,000 per year, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to clients across various regions, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilize strong communication skills to turn customer inquiries into sales opportunities, driving revenue growth and meeting close rate goals.
- Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date on travel rates, destinations, options, and packages, providing accurate information and answering general travel-related questions.
- Monitor and report call types and service issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service standards.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or higher (preferably with a focus on languages or customer service).
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German, with a good level of English proficiency (B2 minimum).
- Excellent social intelligence, empathy, self-awareness, and cultural sensitivity.
- Previous call center experience in sales and/or customer service, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong web-based navigation skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
