**What’s the opportunity about?**
Unbabel is seeking a Strategy and Transformation Manager for the Strategy and Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a front row seat at a fast growing company in the AI and language space.
Reporting to the VP of Strategy and Operations, who sits on the Unbabel Leadership Team, this role encompasses 3 pillars:
- strategic analysis for a data driven approach to planning, identifying areas for growth;
- strategic planning, facilitating the annual strategic planning process of the business; and
- strategy execution, through communication and effective rollout of objectives and key results across the company.

As a Strategy and Transformation Manager you will: *
- Provide commercial and strategic analysis support for a variety of business development and growth opportunities.
- Identify our addressable market and the strategic positioning of different organizations within that market, with a view to making recommendations for how to address threats and opportunities.
- Development of a value creation strategy, defining key priorities (at revenue, cost and M&A level) to maximise the value of the company and accelerate growth.
- Development of an M&A pipeline, identifying potential acquisition and sell targets.
- Facilitate the annual strategic planning process for the business.
- Preparing and rolling out communication plans for the corporate strategy.
- Run effective strategy execution programmes, ensuring that company-level plans are translated into and adjusted by the plans of the various functions and teams through OKRs.
- Execute key strategic projects such as M&A planning and execution or PMI programmes to deliver on the strategy.
- Central point for coordinating all these tasks and facilitation of cross functional processes so that strategy execution gets accomplished in an integrated fashion across the business.
**Requirements**:
- Successful completion of academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or similar fields of study, ideally supplemented by additional business related qualifications (e.g. MBA), though not compulsory.
- Experience and understanding of the principle of Program Management and Project Management.
- Experience working on and/or managing a company acquisition and business integration (whether merger or consolidation).
- Background of strategy consulting and have experience in leading and delivering global based programs and projects and with previous experience developing research, analysis of data and have senior stakeholder engagement experience.
- Native English or similar level.
- Proven ability to draw conclusions from data and create business predictions.
- Proactive and a problem solver, able to create out of the box ideas for simple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders.
- Extremely organized.
- Ability to work independently with discretion and confidentiality.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to cope with pressure and short deadlines working in an agile culture, maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
- Strong personal skills and ability to build relationships and work with a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders, both internal and external.
