Job summary

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Trainee to join our Engineering Department .

The Engineering Cybersecurity Trainee will support the project teams throughout the project’s life cycle to implement the required cybersecurity measures. They shall document and address customer project’s information regarding cybersecurity architecture and systems engineering requirements. These tasks will be carried out throughout the entire project lifecycle, with the support of our experts that will perform additional training and briefing regarding Siemens’ internal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a fluid and constant communication with the project team and client being able to understand client needs and concerns in terms of cybersecurity.

  • Assisting in the development of project cybersecurity documentation, such as: Information Security Plan, Threat and Risk Analysis, Mitigation Measures to be deployed, etc.. This documentation will carried out by the candidate, with support of the central team and using company templates and processes. This will result in documentation that meets the customer's and Siemens’ expectations.

  • Coordination of OT security activities or developments onsite: penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, security verification.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field ;

  • Knowledge of organization issues, objectives, and operations in cybersecurity.

  • Knowledge of regulations and policy directives governing cyber operations, such as IEC 62443 (the most relevant), NIST-800, NIS Directive, ISO26001 and others.

  • Multidisciplinary profile with great capacity to adapt to new challenges.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Other non-mandatory requirements

  • Previous experience in OT cybersecurity.

  • Active OT security certifications (ISA/IEC 62443 CFS, CRAS…)

  • Active IT security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP…)

  • Knowledge of local cybersecurity regulations.
