About the team

Our team, under Technology and Innovation board area, creates the latest products/services for the SAP BTP Platform. We try to use the latest Cloud technology trends, working methods and mindset. We aim to bring the next level of technology innovation to our customers.

We are a very experienced team, we always help each other, love to bring in new people to share with us the passion of developing and creating quality software.

The project

We will be building a new BTP service/product that will aim to help the next generation of the Intelligent Enterprise by providing AI models and other stakeholders user specific information and customization. Given the connection to SAP AI strategy this project is a major priority for SAP and BTP.

The service will follow a micro services architecture, with the best practices for high availability, scalability and high performance in the cloud world.

What you'll do 

• Learn: we’ll give you space and time to learn new technologies (our team works with state-of-the-art Cloud technologies like Kubernetes)
• Code: we love to code
• Learn what it takes to build and maintain a complex Cloud Service
• Interact with and understand the different roles in product software development (Architect, Product Owner, Tech Lead, QA, Devops, etc…)  
• If you want, you can explore Devops world or the QA world and see if you like it
• You won't be alone: we always help and try to work as close as possible with the new team members
• Be part of the team: party up with a highly skilled engineer team and work/learn with some of the best engineers in the software industry
• Be part of product development at SAP, where we build and deploy the next generation of SAP products

What you’ll bring

• Love for software development and learning
• up to 2 years of JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js experience or similar programming languages
• Containerization knowledge (eg: Kubernetes, Docker) is beneficial
• Git knowledge is beneficial
• Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory
