The position

The Hire to Retire (H2R) Global Delivery Lead will lead a team of 200 H2R

professionals in our GBS Global Delivery Organization and Business Process Outsourcing Partners and will be responsible in managing end to end H2R process globally. The incumbent will have a key management role in standing up H2R operations services in this global operations delivery  center. They will help to build a strong governance and relationships and establish stable, effective, standardized, and controlled process delivery to our internal clients. The role reports into the Global Delivery Lead

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the H2R Global Delivery leader role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • People leadership & collaboration â Leading & coaching an internal team of approximately 30 H2R Service Specialists who are accountable for the delivery of internal services to support the full employee lifecycle. Foster an environment that promotes growth, collaboration and continuous improvement.  Set performance expectations, drive accountability and provide coaching.  Build talent pipeline and succession bench strength.
  • Stakeholder Engagement â collaborate with HR organization, local market teams, GPOs and other functions to understand needs, gather input, drive alignment, communicate changes and performance. Actively participate as required on stakeholder Leadership Teams
  • Performance Measurement â Track metrics related to process performance, quality, timeliness, and cost aligned with industry benchmarks as well as monitor defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and service levels (SLAs), aligned with stakeholdersâ expectations, to measure the effectiveness of the H2R process.
  • Governance â Ownership of governance structure and communication channels for the delivery center, partnering with various internal Service Delivery stakeholders, HR business partners and support groups in order to collaboratively deliver a great user experience, mitigate risks, and monitor standard requirements and performance, in alignment with leadership and Organon Audit and Compliance functions, consistent with IC & standards and statutory requirements.
  • Project Management and Continuous Improvement â Enable transformational digital projects in partnership with GPOs organization. Analyze the business process performance data and understand evolving business needs, identify areas for enhancement, and implement and embed changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver better outcomes (quality, flexibility, simplicity). Continually evaluate, prioritize and adapt processes to evolving global business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorâs degree or equivalent,  years of experience in a complex multinational business environment, with focus on H2R Delivery, Operations or Shared Services  and experience leading a regional / global team for at least 2-3 years.
  • Proven record of end-to-end H2R process knowledge and deployment expertise gained through hands-on participation in functional activities relevant to end-to-end H2R process, in particular:
    • Payroll, Employee data management, Benefits and leave administration, HRIS, Recruitment operations, learning services, reporting and analysis and the HR service center.
  • Demonstrated experience in a key internal control, matrix environment, working in a shared services environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: building and sustaining relationships with key internal stakeholders, support teams and vendors.
  • Strong influencing skills - ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at global levels and across functions.
  • Strong Process orientation - problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Maintain up to date understanding of industry best practices relevant to H2R
  • Effective training skills, talent management and team building capabilities for management of functional tasks within area of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Experience with Workday, Sum Total, S/4 Hana, Service Now, ADP is a plus
