Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Overview Designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Designs and develops security features of products including systems, applications and/or solutions. Ensures the security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Integrates new security features, updates into existing products, and resolves integration and testing issues.Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a new test platform for embedded software.
• Prepare tasks by its own.
• Set up test environments to test embedded software.
• Program test scripts.
• Create test specifications to test embedded software.
• Complete technical documents.
• Support the software development process team to improve the processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or similar
• More than 5 years solid working experience in automotive embedded software development
• Strong knowledge of programming C/C++ and C#
• Strong experience with Vector CANoe
• Knowledge of NI LabVIEW and NI PXI systems
• Experience in the use of APIs (REST-API,...)
• Knowledge in automotive standards e.g. Automotive SPICE, ISO26262
• Experience in working with an Application Lifecycle Management Tool (ALM) e.g. Polarion, codeBeamer
• Knowledge in electronic hardware
• Good communication skills in English
