At TMC, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join an international project focused on Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data-Driven Decision Making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology, translating business requirements into actionable insights and supporting the delivery of impactful BI solutions.
🔧 Your Role
- Gather, analyze and document business requirements related to BI and Analytics initiatives
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Support the design and implementation of dashboards, reports and analytical solutions
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers and Data Analysts
- Define and monitor KPIs and business metrics
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data and analytics
- Support testing, validation and user acceptance activities
- Ensure documentation is maintained and aligned with business processes
✅ What We Are Looking For
Functional Skills
- Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within BI, Data or Analytics projects
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience documenting:
- Business Requirements
- Functional Specifications
- User Stories
- Process Flows
- Understanding of reporting, dashboards and analytical processes
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
Data & BI Knowledge
- Experience working with BI and reporting solutions
- Understanding of:
- Data Modelling concepts
- KPIs and Business Metrics
- Data Warehousing concepts
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
- Experience working alongside Data Engineering and BI teams
🌱 Nice to Have
- Experience with:
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Qlik
- Similar BI tools
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in Agile environments
- Exposure to Data Governance or Data Quality initiatives

🎓 Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in BI, Analytics or Data-related projects
- Portuguese and English (mandatory)
- Availability for a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto
