Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possibleYour role For our factory in Rio de Mouro, we are hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer. This person is responsible for acting as a link between the Manufacturing teams and the Electra Development Team (EDT) to meet Operations – Manufacturing process requirements in Electra, for an 12 to 18 months project. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional Operations and IT teams to help to analyze and enhance existing systems as well as developing new applications to improve efficiency.Main responsibilities: Facilitate process requirement to EDT in order to develop applications following Electra requirements.Analyze Operations requirements to facilitate EDT the Electra technical specifications drawing up.Facilitate the shopfloor manufacturing system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.Collaborate with functional Operating teams to integrate SAP solutions with other business systems.Main requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringAt least 1 year of experience in manufacturing process engineeringGreat ability to solve problemsHigh level in Microsoft Office package, mainly in Excel and macros developmentDemonstrable experience in SAP RPA environments is highly valuedProgrammer experience: SQL, Python, or VBALanguages: Native PortugueseProficient in EnglishWhat’s in it for youIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
