The Role

As a Commercial Legal Support Specialist you play a pivotal role in providing legal support and operational improvements aligned with Rydoo's sales, revenue operations, and legal strategies. Your role ensures scalable legal solutions, mitigates risks, and supports commercial activities like sales, partnerships, marketing, and procurement. You'll streamline contract management, enhance stakeholder collaboration, and promote legal consistency to drive client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in tandem with commercial stakeholders of our company, to deliver scalable legal solutions, identify and troubleshoot potential issues, and provide recommendations and resolution options to stakeholders. Legal support and advisory in Rydoo's commercial activities (including marketing, partnership, sales, and procurement). This includes: Collaboration with the sales and partnership team to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies, company strategy and legal standards. Provision of legal guidance on matters related to contract terms and contract negotiations to indicate potential risks and issues in sales, partnership and marketing agreements. Coordinate closely with the sales team to align schedules effectively with sales activities and goals (including identification of potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions to mitigate it) Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule management system to ensure timely delivery of reviewed contracts, answers to RFPs etc. Work closely with the RevOps team to seek internal stakeholder approvals for any contract modifications (this includes streamlining of validation process to ensure smooth communication and alignment between internal stakeholders and the sales team) The primary objective of this role is to ensure that sales team adhere to standardized contracts, promoting client satisfaction through uniformity and consistency in our offerings. Staff training and supporting knowledge transfer for best legal practices, contract negotiation, and compliance. Serve as an administrator for the contract management tool, overseeing user access, permissions, and configurations (including optimizing the contract management tool to enhance its efficiency, and user experience, automate processes, reduce manual intervention, and expedite contract lifecycles by using the tool's available functionalities) Assist the Legal Operations Team in the creation and implementation of policies intended to lower corporate risk, and to communicate those policies to employees.

Requirements

Bachelor in Law or minimum 2 years of relevant experience in legal roles, including negotiating commercial contracts, implementing legal operational processes, and contract management. Strong understanding of contract law and commercial agreements. Proven negotiation skills, and are comfortable navigating various organizational structures (both internally and externally) and adjusting negotiation approaches to suit different stakeholders and scenarios Proactive with a hands-on and creative approach to problem-solving An effective integrator who can identify and engage relevant stakeholders to tackle legal issues arising from contract revisions and negotiations Strong organizational and execution skills A multitasker who can balance time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently Effective communication with a solutions-oriented approach and the ability to make clear recommendations Experience in optimizing validation or approval processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Experience in a high-growth organization, ideally in SaaS is a nice to have Willing to commute to our Lisbon office 1x per week

Languages

Working proficiency in English (C1+)  German, Dutch and French are a plus
