What you'll do As an Associate Developer, you will be required to carry out the following tasks :

Analysis and specification of business requirements Modelling, design, implementation, and test based on SAP's programming model and processes Software quality improvements through application redesign.

Write automated tests for quality assurance Maintenance and corrections Collaborate with other development teams and product management colleagues at Globalization Services who provide localization requirements.

Responsibility to ensure high quality (create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, code reviews) Be an active part of an Agile (Scrum) development team What you bring Skills and Compentencies Excellent analytical skills Very good comprehension skills, high quality commitment and self-motivating working style Ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in new technological areas Very good communication skills; fluent English Constructive and open style of communication Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures Education and Work Experience University Degree.

preferably in an IT or a related discipline (computer science, physics, mathematics, business economics etc.) or another adequate qualification Overall Experience of 1-3 years in SAP application development Knowledge/Experience in ABAP/ABAP OO, CDS Views, BAdIs, BAPIs, IDocs, APIs, OData and SOAP APIs would be a plus Knowledge/Experience in Business Suite applications like SAP ERP Financials/Public Sector would be a plus Proven track record of successful project/product performance regarding customer satisfaction, quality deliverables and on-time delivery LEAN thinking Meet your team Globalization Services (GS) empowers businesses by helping them meet local compliance while enabling them to compete globally.

The department comprises more than 40 locations worldwide with main development units (GS CI Fin) located in Germany, China, India, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, and Portugal.

Our department language is English.
Location SAP is not offering international relocation benefits for this role currently. Only candidates who have legal authorization to Work in Portugal and are currently based in Portugal will be considered.
