We are on the lookout for a Junior Product Designer to join our design team and contribute to the development of our internal products.

You will be under the guidance of our Product Designer, collaborating with our Analysis and Design Expert, Business Analysts, and Product Owners who will mentor and support you throughout this journey.

We are seeking a Junior Product Designer (with 0.5 to 3 years of experience) who resonates with our Purpose, Vision, and Values and is enthusiastic about contributing to a team where these principles are not just words but actionable guidelines.

About the Role As a Junior Product Designer joining our compact, geographically dispersed Design Team, you will familiarize yourself with the returns market and post-purchase user experience while assisting in the enhancement of our internal products used globally.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and have the chance to enhance your communication and management capabilities.

You will gain insights into utilizing our Design System, creating wireframes in Figma, documenting your work, facilitating development handover, and supporting development teams during the implementation phase.

In a dynamic setting, you will contribute to our grown-up mindset by partaking in scrum ceremonies and operating in an agile framework.

What You'll Be Doing

Contribute to the design of ZigZag internal products.Demonstrate a solid grasp of our user base, their requirements, and how to deliver tailored experiences.Develop user journeys and flows to identify issues and devise effective solutions.Enhance information architecture, ensuring intuitive navigation for complex scenarios.Create wireframes and prototypes that aim for straightforward and intuitive resolutions to intricate problems using our existing visual systems and/or standards.Maintain high standards of usability, consistency, and accessibility by implementing User-Centred Design.Document your work and prepare files for development handoff.Promote the Design System.Contribute to the design system by crafting new products/features and generating fresh components.Collaborate with Marketing to enhance our brand and visual identity based on advancements in Product Design.Encourage the use of our design system to ensure product coherence.Organize content and information and expand current components, concentrating on user objectives, usability, and accessibility.Contribute to our guidelines and documentation.Cross-functional collaboration.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and other team members to actively discern customer, business, and user requirements.Present new features and outcomes to the team and stakeholders.Ensure design is not isolated but rather a result of collaborative insights and feedback.Engage in agile development ceremonies to ensure design solutions are correctly executed.Research and Knowledge.Conduct ongoing research and leverage new insights to achieve company and design team objectives.Undertake competitor analysis to identify effective strategies and trends.Foster a profound understanding of our customers to customize our products to suit their needs and preferences.Stay abreast of emerging design trends and best practices, proactively applying this knowledge to enhance our product.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (intensive courses) in Design fields relevant to the Product Design role.
  • Mandatory basic experience in Figma.
  • Experience with Balsamiq is advantageous.
  • Innovative and disruptive mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Keenness to learn and develop.
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written - 100% English-oriented job).
  • A portfolio showcasing work in the UX/UI domain; proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD; proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, research, and documentation.
  • Team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
