Below, you will find information that will be useful to know if you meet the technical characteristics of the position:

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HSErelated legal guidelines, overseeing the documentary and security compliance of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Supervising key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drafting prevention plans for interventions on assets
  • Managing staff safety training.
  • Reviewing incident reports, and facilitating incident notification, classification, and escalation when necessary.
  • Conducts incident investigations, reviews risk assessments and method statements (safe work procedures).
  • Evaluates site and project HSE plans, performs inspections and audits at production and construction sites, and participates in HSE risk assessments.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation and standards applicable to Portugal, including relevant certifications.
  • Practical and solutionoriented approach.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety Management Systems such as OSHA 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
