The main goal of the Tactical Procurement team is to ensure accurate supplier data and support our suppliers in the onboarding process in SAP Ariba.

We are hiring a manager for our Tactical Procurement team who is willing to take the next step and contribute to the success of Infineon.


In this role, your main goal will be managing the operational service with appropriate planning and use of resources, providing a high-quality service, while leading a team of specialists.


In your new role, you will:

  • Work on the
    planning, optimization, and control of operational processes in Supplier Master Data and eProcurement Network;

Manage operations, monitor KPI, and develop action plans to ensure smooth operations Present proposals to address Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement Surveys;

  • Be responsible for the
    selection, management, assessment, and development of employees in the area of responsibility to ensure team stability;
  • Drive operations and monitor results in accordance with planned activities;

Ensure the team acts in accordance with Procurement rules and guidelines , foster the usage of the right procurement channel, and acts in accordance with Infineon compliance principles;

  • Be able to adapt and implement
    efficient forms of organization, procedures, and processes to ensure process and cost efficiency;

Support interdisciplinary projects to optimize procedures and processes, working with different teams globally;

  • Work actively on
    benchmarking of procurementrelated procedures and figures to derive approaches for continuous improvement by making (best practice) comparisons, and implement these by means of appropriate measures.

Interact on a regular basis
with Process Owners globall y;

Align strategies and operations with peers in APAC (Asia Pacific).

You demonstrate strong communication skills and know-how to successfully lead your team to achieve the best results.

Your technical expertise combined with your management skills enable you to conduct with success the daily operational tasks while keeping the high standards for the team.

Besides this, you have a high focus on the customer and employee engagement.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in
    Business Administration, Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field;
  • At least
    5 years of experience in an Operational management function in Procurement or Finance;
  • An affinity for
    master data topics and
    systems architectures ;
  • A good understanding and knowledge of
    procurement organization and
    service to internal customers ;
  • Ideally, the
    ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously , including communication, organization, time management, and problemsolving skills;
  • Experience working with
    matrix organizations , and/or
    Shared Services methodologies ;

Expertise in ERPs:

  • SAP and/or Ariba;
  • Good communication skills with the team, stakeholders, and suppliers;

Fluency in English (mandatory).
