Mechanical Engineer for Heat Pump Development

Your valuable contribution:
As part of the Bosch Home Comfort team, you will play a key role in the development of Electrical Solutions, specifically Heat Pumps, aimed at providing sustainable heating solutions for the future.
You'll collaborate with a diverse team in an international setting to create heat pump solutions that will be utilized in various Bosch plants across Europe. Your involvement will span the entire product lifecycle, where you'll introduce your innovative concepts and solutions, from the initial idea phase to production, focusing on enhancing cost-efficiency and quality. In this role, you will:
- Devise new technical concepts and innovative features for heat pumps, emphasizing the Low Price Product Segment;
- Conduct thorough testing of heat pumps and components, evaluating and documenting the outcomes;
- Set heat pump requirements within the context of heating/cooling and water systems;
- Produce technical documentation for products (reports, procedures);
- Introduce modifications to existing heat pumps to elevate quality, functionality, and cost-efficiency.
Your distinguishing traits:
- Educational background: degree in mechanical engineering, physics engineering, or similar field;
- Experience: proficiency in mechanical product development and relevant tools (FMEA, DFMA, FAM) is advantageous;
- Knowledge: solid grasp of thermodynamics and refrigeration systems. Proficiency in handling intricate system development;
- Work approach: structured and analytical, with a knack for problem-solving;
- Personality: proactive, curious, eager for continuous growth and learning, capable of thriving in a team setting;
- Languages: excellent command of English.
