About the job

  • Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Trainee will contribute to the rampup of the local platform and aim to provide an excellent employee experience to all Porto based teams

Your Main Activities Are

  • Support local recruitment activities, namely by posting job advertisements, conducting phone screenings and scheduling interviews
  • Support employee onboarding activities, liaising with other HR teams and with URBO's proximity teams in order to support new joiners and employees in mobility to Porto, ensuring a smooth onboarding and/or mobility experience
  • Support the organization of learning & development activities in Porto, working closely with the L&D Support team and the Facilities proximity team
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, processes and tools, according to the strategy defined by the Group and the Territory HR
  • Provide advice to employees on HR queries and procedures, forwarding them to the proper channel and/or tool
  • Collaborate with the local Facilities team in order to contribute to employee wellness and workplace health & safety

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field (Organizational Psychology or Social Sciences)
  • Up to 1 year in a similar role in a HR department or consultancy firm (max.)
  • Fully fluent in English
  • IT literacy: Proficient in MS Office Excel (as a plus)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and analytical ability.

About the Team

  • Leveraging on centralized HR domestic teams and working closely with them, the HR Porto team provides consultation to management and employees on a broad scope of HR topics.
