Job Purpose:

Oncology Lead role combines Brand management/marketing responsibilities as well as sales leadership.

The role is leading x-functional team to implement brand strategies locally through executing activities agreed in LOC Operational Plans, ensuring measurements in place, and based on results, also drive course correction actions as needed.

Proactively managing supply and propose financial targets based on clear assumptions and market analysis. This all based on collected Customer Insight and competitive intelligence.

At the same time the role is responsible for sales delivery, directly managing a team of Key account managers to ensure we are winning versus competitors and focus on the strategy implementation.

  • Preparing local Business plan (based on Global plans) coordinating xfunctional team, ensuring learnings and Customer/Market Insights incorporated
  • Execution of operational plan: organizing marketing activities as agreed, managing A&P budget, tracking relevant KPIs, collecting insights from the field
  • Localization of Global campaigns and materials: working closely with MOC, preparing Demand plan on timely manner to ensure 80% Demand Compliance, managing materials end2end in Content Lab
  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns through agreed KPIs and insights from the Sales Teams, supported by the digital and innovation team in digital analytics and data driven marketing (ensure improvements taken based on insights from data)
  • Responsible for the administrative management of 3rd parties' contracts (sponsorships, events organizing, etc), in line with company's requirements (ABAC, SOP, etc); collecting, acquiring, and archiving required documentation
  • Providing relevant inputs to financial planning and forecasting (preDRM)

Sales leadership - direct management of Key account managers for Oncology, driving sales execution, setting Selling targets and being responsible for delivery; ensure comprehensive account plans in place and executed as agreed and managing given accounts in complex way

Getting customer insight from different sources: Market data, Market research, Sales force insights, direct interaction with HCPs on GSK events

Strictly follow the Code of Practice and other GSK policies.

Knowledge and complexity:

  • Understanding of market, customer groups and levels of influence
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge (scientific, commercial, and technical) to customer interactions and builds a trusting relationship by adding value
  • Ensures cooperation between marketing/sales and other relevant areas to ensure effective implementation of strategy
  • Development of strategic alternatives based on the insights and information of the crossfunctional team
  • Ability to translate strategy into a fluent discourse of medical visitation with mastery of sales techniques
  • Applies scientific knowledge, international or national guidelines and the reality of patient management in each account to build value propositions aligned with customer needs

Basic Requirements:

Academic Background:

  • Master's degree in Business, Scientific, Marketing
  • Portuguese language on native level, fluent English
  • Good strategic evaluation of the market and environment in a specific therapeutical area
  • Brand management includes evaluation of global strategy, execution plan including measurement and delivering agreed activities

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Pharma marketing role
  • Experience in leading people is necessary
  • Experience in Specialty/ Hospital business
  • Experience in leading Digital / Multi-Channel Marketing; knowledge of different digital channels and the opportunities they present
  • Account plan needs to be prepared based on insights and executed as planned using direct customer facing as well as xfunctional team recourses; Knowledge on how to approach different departments in hospitals

Preferred requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in an equivalent position in the hospital market
  • Previous experience in haematooncology
  • Excellent capacity to manage multiple complex projects
  • Great team player with strong social skills to facilitate optimal cross functional collaboration
  • Ability to work with the different departments within an organization and lead xfunctional team
  • It is necessary to be able to gain customer insights from different sources, analyse the data and propose changes to strategy or its execution as needed
